cybersecurity professional
I'm a cybersecurity professional currently pursuing my Master's in Cybersecurity at Simon Fraser University while working as an IT Services Technician at TLC Solutions in Langley, BC.
My foundation is built on hands-on experience with SIEM systems, threat detection, endpoint hardening, and IT infrastructure management. I thrive at the intersection of technical depth and operational security.
Outside of work, I compete actively on Hack The Box and maintain a home lab running Proxmox with SIEM stacks for continuous learning and testing.
When I step away from the terminal, you'll find me building custom PCs, shooting analog film, or hiking. Great defenders need perspective beyond the screen.
Configured Microsoft Azure Sentinel to ingest VM logs and create a live global threat map. Used KQL for custom analytic rules to filter malicious traffic and visualize attack origins in real-time.
Deployed a simulated Security Operations Center environment to practice incident response workflows. Refined detection logic to distinguish false positives from genuine security threats using Elastic SIEM.
Conducted comprehensive Nmap vulnerability assessments on a home network and hardened infrastructure via IoT segmentation, firewall rule tuning, and continuous monitoring with a self-hosted SIEM.
Designed a phishing prevention campaign featuring educational simulations targeting social engineering vectors. Developed materials to build a proactive security culture across organizations.
I'm open to new opportunities in cybersecurity. Whether you have a role, a project, or just want to talk security — reach out anytime.
